D&A represented an international technology company whose patented food-warming products were being sold without authorization through online marketplaces targeting U.S. consumers, causing significant harm to the plaintiff’s market position and brand. The matter resulted in a final judgment finding the defendant liable for infringement and a damages award of $1.7 million.

Don Isaac B. Ramos v. The Partnerships and Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule A, No. 1:25-cv-09781, N.D. Illinois

D&A represented the holder of a U.S. design patent covering a storage container for grocery and trash bags against a group of online sellers offering infringing products through major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and Temu, to U.S. consumers. Concluding in late 2025, the matter resulted in a preliminary injunction restraining defendants from further infringement, freezing assets, and compelling third-party platforms and payment providers to disable related listings, advertisements, and provide expedited discovery.D&A represented the holder of a registered U.S. design patent against 20 online sellers distributing infringing shelving bracket products through major e-commerce platforms to U.S. consumers.
